Must see this very soon…

PINA is a feature-length dance film in 3D with the ensemble of the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch, featuring the unique and inspiring art of the great German choreographer Pina Bausch, who died in the summer of 2009. PINA is directed by Wim Wenders.

Have just been watching the Gluck ORFEO dvd; choreography by the unsurpassed Pina B.(Xmas present!) A very lyrical piece, and although ends in sadness, is v v moving along the way.

Highly recommended. Do you know of any others?
I hear ‘Cafe Mueller’ is also worth watching, but at $30 a go, it is a bit… shall we say, beyond me, for the moment!

I re-discovered Pina B. thanks to Wenders’s movie. For sure I wanna see it, and thank you for sharing additional things to watch. Unfortunately I don’t know any others!
