Security is one thing, usability is another one.
To me usability is key.
I spend to many time in front of my laptop and when I wanna do something (post, manage my blogroll) as easily as possible, it has to be simple and made quickly.
I have just tried to include a widget, a simple badge, and the result is not what expected…

I DON’T WANNA UNDERSTAND AND SPEND 10 MINUTES TO MANAGE THE STUFF, I DON’T HAVE THEM…
Frustrating!!!!!

Think I seriously need to reconsider my web tools.
Now I have to go. I’m late.

You can have a look at TypePad and try it for free for 14 days. http://europe.sixapart.com/typepad/home-en.php will be your friend.

You should use wordpress via Flock. Flock is a web browser I use that allow you to manage your social networks. It has a blog edition platform built in it, which makes it easier and faster to post.
Give it a try!
