37% June 10, 2007

Posted by Phil Jeudy in Misc.

This is a number that was not a surprise for me.
But many people seemed not to have planned such a low turnout of little bit more than 60%. I am talking about today’s french elections.
I remember all the comments on the past elections (turnout was 84).
No local programs (see Olivier Seres’s comments as good example).
Ministers from recent Sarkozy’s decision on first rank…are they not supposed just to work for the government?

I tried to listen to the discussions on french TV channels. I stopped.

This is a massive failure, there is something wrong over here. Whatever the result from the secound round next week.
