SIMAlliance has organised ITS event…without Informa, SIM manufactors are all in Berlin for 2 days.
Plenary sessions like “Mature Markets Demographics & Content Trends: Browsing, Music, TV & Mobile Marketing”, “Mobile & Internet – the shift to Web 2:0 based competition or partnership?”, and 7 tracks dedicated to:
-Mobilise your Brand! Mobile Marketing – CRM/ Branding/ Advertising
-When machines do the talking! Machine-to-Machine (M2M)
-A Review of Technologies & Standards – Where are we?
-Mobile Contactless: the route to mobile transactions?
-Mobile TV: Just Mobile or a new Paradigm?
-Multimedia SIM – What for?
-Services & Content leveraging existing SIM technology
I could not attend to all of them of course. My main conclusion is to notice smart projects pushed by SIM manufactors and efforts to push business…but the main discussions and focus are always conducted into the same direction: carriers. Are they the only way of promoting interesting usage to end users…convince brands to imagine and invest…not so sure.
